Ten years after the introduction of Davidoff Yamasá, Davidoff Cigars unveils its latest creation: the Davidoff Puro Dominicano. This new line in the three exciting formats Short Robusto, Corona Larga and Perfecto takes aficionados on a journey through the heart of the Dominican Republic. The blend is composed of well-aged tobaccos from six Dominican terroirs with a combined age of 32 years.
Inspired by the Dominican amber gemstone, a rare jewel sourced from deep below and shaped into a warm, glowing masterpiece, the Puro Dominicano cigar is composed of predominantly higher-grade tobaccos from six different Dominican terroirs. Blended and shaped to perfection by Davidoff’s Master Blenders, the result is a full-bodied Dominican puro with the intensity expected from a black-banded cigar and the refinement that defines every Davidoff creation.

Davidoff Puro Dominicano pays tribute to its Dominican origin not only through its blend but also through one of its formats. The Corona Larga with its 44-ring gauge (1.8 cm diameter) symbolises 1844 – the year of the Dominican Republic’s independence. This format is unique within the Davidoff portfolio. The new line is presented in a black wooden cabinet box containing twelve cigars of the same format, accented with a striking yellow line inspired by Dominican amber, or alternatively in a pack of five of the same format. This color detail is also reflected on the cigars’ rings.
