You may not know the name El Pulpo, yet, but we know you know the name Viva La Vida! That’s right, the guys over at Artesano del Tobacco have been exploring and searching for their next blend and we believe they’ve found a gem in El Pulpo!
El Pulpo, or The Octopus, is a Mexican San Andreas wrapped box pressed cigar filled with Nicaraguan tobaccos which are rolled in AJ Fernandez’s Esteli factory. A bold cigar with an attitude of flavor, El Pulpo was one of the top three cigars that I personally got to smoke during our five days in Las Vegas at the Premium Cigar Association trade show.
Aside from the cigar itself, the owners of Artesano del Tobacco, were some of the most genuine and kind people we had the chance to meet while at the trade show. We have never had the opportunity to meet with either of them or had them on a show, but it was almost like we were linking up with two long lost friends of whom we haven’t seen in ages. warm embraces, big smiles and genuine hearts. Billy and Gus, you two are awesome!
